Dear Sir/Madam/customer/business partner of GÖRLITZ AG
The coronavirus COVID-19 topic and its specific and concrete impact on all parts of our lives is something we are all very concerned about. We would therefore like to inform you today about measures the GÖRLITZ group has taken to protect our customers and employees while maintaining business operation at the same time.
1. Availability of staff for projects/services/sales
For two weeks, some staff members are already working at home.
- Employees, who have returned from affected areas identified by the German Robert Koch Institute (RKI) within the last 14 days.
- Employees, who got in contact with persons who have returned from affected areas within the last 14 days.
- Employees knowing people within their closer social environment that show symptoms of cold or influenza.
Our customers themselves are already reducing business travels and visits to minimize risks.
GÖRLITZ has therefore already focussed on using video or phone conferences to communicate within sales, development and projects. We use various software products to facilitate communication and help our customers and business partners getting in contact with our staff members who are working alone at their individual work spaces and meeting rooms. We would really appreciate if you shared these new technologies frequently.
2. On site appointments
When planning appointments, we are already considering visit guidelines and restrictions issued by some of our customers. All work will be executed according to schedule. Work that does not require our presence at your premises will be executed via remote access. We have already instructed our employees to cancel all business trips that are not necessary.
3. Fault clearance and service
Our fault reporting hotline and service hotline are available at any time. Staff members responsible for these hotlines have moved to separate and individual work places or are working at home. We therewith guarantee all services required for fault clearance, offer support in case of error and provide software updates.
We would really like to support you in case you experience technical bottlenecks, staff shortages or procedural problems. Please do not hesitate to contact us!
4. General business in a worsening crisis
The current crisis develops dynamically. As a modern and up-to-date IT company, we have already taken measures to guarantee that most of our employees (be it sales, projects or service) can work at home. We are thus able to maintain operation even in extreme cases (eg curfew) to a great extent.
In case you need more information, please do not hesitate to contact us! We will be pleased to answer your questions at any time.
All the best to you and your staff! Stay healthy!
