It started as a personal commitment, a desire for the meaningful use of energy and likely solutions for the future. Martin Görlitz Dipl.-Ing. formed his own foundation, EUS, in 1995, financed with private capital and profits from the GÖRLITZ Group. Almost half a million marks have already been accumulated. As a result of their ambitious goal, the EUS is constantly dependent on donations and contributions.

The supportive work was carried out in the early years as single projects in the local region, but today, projects are planned farther afield. The coming year will bring the foundation nearer its goal: the projects should display innovative technical concepts dealing with regenerated energy. Existing technologies, such as wind power or voltaic pictures must be ruled out. Solutions must be found for the future, this preoccupies engineers, physicists and inventors throughout the world today. A further goal, worthy of a scholarship from the foundation, would be a concept to generate energy from regenerated crude materials.

This assignment should be undertaken by one or two colleagues. In mind is a young student who, naturally for a salary, would apply the foundations' projects as a subject for their practical experience. Suitable premises and an infrastructure in IT and communications field are at their disposal. This would be a great leap forward for the foundation, as up to now there have been too few personnel resources.
