GÖRLITZ AG manufactures hard and software for technical application in the telecommunication networks with strong emphasis on the energy industry.

In the past 4 years, over 300 projects using ENC and Skalar technology from GÖRLITZ AG were set forth. Today, with the advance of remote reading in preparation for the liberalised energy market, the electrical energy inspection points equipped with GÖRLITZ communication products and systems for special contract clients exceed 160,000.

The deregulation of the European energy markets has been mobilised step by step in several countries and has opened boundaries for the manufacturers of systems. GÖRLITZ is represented by affiliates in the major countries and continues its international expansion in the future.

The GÖRLITZ company and its distribution partners in respective countries has already won a considerable number of the major European utilities as customers for data management and collection systems, verification, correction and validation ENZ2000, EDW and the ENC/Skalar hardware. For example, the ATEL and all important utilities in Switzerland, the Austrian market - with EVN and KELAG and extending to projects in Hungary and Slovakia. Not to be omitted are the major reference projects at ENEL in Italy in addition to various projects throughout Italy - namely ACEA Rome, AEM Torino or AIM Milano - and Essent in the Netherlands.
