Perfect solutions around your energy data

Energy Supplier and Industry
The importance of automatic meter reading (AMR) has continuously grown in the past years. Besides the requirements of the liberalisation of energy markets, other reasons for this are increased customer awareness and the suppliers' and end consumers' want for detailed information.

Modern utilities as grid operators have a wide range of assignments that must be punctually completed. This concerns not only the classic meter reading, but they must acquire consumption data and load profiles for balancing daily. This necessitates accounting for all supply segments and to standardise the operation as much as possible.

Latest Technologies
Make use of the infrastructures available today for your automatic meter reading. Reduce the extensive administration that it entails.

To profit from AMR, you do not need to execute expensive infrastructure measures for supply and data transmission, even not at isolated metering points. Minimise subsequent processing by improving transmission quality. Have additional benefits from the AMR equipment installed.

Have an eye on the investment security in regard to new regulations e.g. digital signatures.

There is much to be accomplished
More and more also middle size customers' consumption data are integrated in the load control and forecasting. Monitoring and controlling tasks are also offered as additional services, not at last to keep the customers.

Energy management plays an increasingly important role in the industry and trade, particularly within the framework of controlling and cost allocation. The savings potential that can be gained by minimising the energy application by production and process optimisations and by optimising the peak demand behaviour is exploited only at a very low level today.

A prevailing application field today is the consumption and cost allocation, based on data available from automatic meter reading, to shared users of a building unit, a commercial or technological park, a clinic or a logistics centre.

Innovation plus experience
For almost 30 years now, GÖRLITZ AG has been involved in the development and production of hardware and software for data technical systems. The team at the company's headquarter in Koblenz has shaped automatic meter reading right from its beginning and energy data systems are the core subject of their activities.

As early as 1995 GÖRLITZ launched the first PLC network for data transmission on low voltage wires on the market.. This was succeeded shortly afterwards by an extension to the medium voltage network.

GÖRLITZ AG, in addition to developing and manufacturing the products, by the way to the greatest extent possible in their hometown of Koblenz, also devises entire system concepts, projects them and commissions them on site.
