This is where the EMETRION IQ comes into force; it is comprised of two components from the calibration point of view, the metering part and the communication adapter, both of which result from our expertise in system integration.

Due to its sophisticated concept, the age of Internet with its changes from available transmission networks to packet-oriented communication does not pose a problem for the EMETRION IQ. The integrated electricity meter provides the most modern form of communication for its measuring values in the liberalised energy markets. It automatically provides measuring data for transfer via public protocols in form of XML files in packet oriented networks.

Standardised methods for data transmission guarantee the procedures for the reading, operation and maintenance of measuring points which are in constant operation, are managed easily and reliably.

The EMETRION IQ uses innovative methods for data provision and communication. Supported by IP technology and open protocols, the contact-free data communication is executed through a Bluetooth connection with PDA devices or via GSM/GPRS.

The correct time in the meter is guranteed by the intelligent concept and unique „soft-sync“ technology from the company GÖRLITZ AG. Consequently the “fixed setting” of the device clock has been finally consigned to the past.
