Plausibility check

Since the use of AMR systems, the plausibility check for the data is an essential basic requirement made on the energy data management system.

The trained eye and wide experience of a human reader can only be simulated with extensive control equipment. The module to check plausibility provides every facility. It processes the physical measuring data reference processes as well as with replication of register values and limit values. Global and local variables and also using fixed constants enable different calculations to check specified criteria. Envelope curves and percentage deviation from previous consumption values are only part of the individual control criteria.

Unchecked data from the meters that are stored as a backup in the raw database are not necessarily regarded as plausible "true" values even with fully calibrated meters and consequently have a low reliability level. The level of confidence rises with each completed and successful check together with the value of the data.

In the event of negative results, a corresponding data substitution can be carried out in conjunction with the module EDW.substitution. The results of the plausibility check and the relevant rules for checking are logged for traceability.
