| The
system EDW3000 provides solutions for the tasks retrieval, checking,
management and distribution of energy data and its related areas.
It maps explicitly the process from measuring to billing for the
purposes of the grid operator and energy supplier.
Automatic meter reading, manual meter reading, meter and device
management, plausibility, the generation of true and verifiable
billing data together with their management and distribution are
the core functions of the EDW3000.
In addition to the standard functions for the grid operator, the
EDW3000 is designed to incorporate other categories. An example
is the gas module with which specific parameters for the complex
medium are applied for the volume flow related energy supplies.
The EDW3000 is the new system performance to resolve the demands
made by the various legislative bodies in the European energy market.
Data retrieval, as core process in the EDW3000, is the basis for
subsequent processes in an energy data management (EDM) system.
The integrated job scheduling was developed using Microsoft .Net
technology. Directly integrated communication modules, as a further
development of the proven control station ENZ2000, can be used
for the data retrieval. Its modular design enables multiple stand-alone
stations to be connected and, in the case of ENZ2000, to be provided
automatically with reading jobs. This provides optimal scalability
during use, ranging from small single-user retrieval systems to
nationwide energy networks. Standards such as FTP, POP or SMTP
are already available in the system to permit the use of Internet
for the data communication.
The open database system supports the connection of different
relational databases such as Oracle® or Microsoft® SQL
server.
