EDW3000 substitution
Data substitution

The module EDW.substitution is used to replace values in measured and calculated energy data. Due to the varying degrees of reliability in the reference sources for energy consumption data, the retrieval system cannot always guarantee the completeness of the data. To ensure the daily operational process, missing values must be reproduced.

This module offers individual configuration options and default rules to reproduce missing values as exactly as possible. Historical and characteristic load profiles are used for calculation and/or ambient data which, calculated with the register values, provide the best possible reproduction of "true" values. Moreover, EDW.substitution enables the data to be manually edited comfortably. The data can be copied, pasted and edited using drag and drop commands. Temporary calculations from other data series can also be used as a data basis. Manual interventions are logged for traceability the same as automated data substitutions.

The substitution module enables a punctual editing and aggregation of the incomplete physical measuring data and in doing so, provides a basic component of the system. Only a selective and accurate data substitution ensures the delivery to the market partner on the due date. The historical administration of measuring data enables all values to be exchanged at a later date with subsequent incoming true values. The data are marked with the corresponding flags in accordance with the Metering Code and every substitution is logged. Implausible values can also be automatically substituted in conjunction with the module for plausibility checks.

The substitution control equipment is in accordance with the Metering Code 2004 and is a basic component of the module.
