Jürgen Bach, Manager Hardware Development GÖRLITZ AG, studied electrical engineering in Koblenz and specialised in communication technology. He joined GÖRLITZ in 1991 as a development engineer concentrating on PCBs, c0nstruction and electro-magnetic compatibility. Mr. Bach has been directing the R&D department for hardware since 2001 and plays a significant role in the conception of the device series Skalar, EMETRION IQ and MUC.

 

Thomas Butz, Manager Software Development GÖRLITZ AG, studied computer science at the University of Koblenz. On completion of his studies he was engaged as consultant with Capgemini sd&m for eight years and changed to GÖRLITZ AG in January 2007 to head software development.

Angela Gerlach, Financial Controller GÖRLITZ AG, before joining GÖRLITZ AG, was previously engaged as controller in the German subsidiary of Zenergy Power Plc., a British company noted on the stock exchange and before that in Holt Lloyd GmbH – part of the Honeywell concern. In her leisure time, Ms. Gerlach pursues her hobbies in Egyptian history and German football.

Jannik Munk, Managing Director GÖRLITZ Lukia A/S Denmark, studied electrical engineering specializing in telecommunications and data technology at the University of South Denmark. After graduating he joined the company Industrial Communication as a systems engineer for industrial automation. The company developed rapidly and Mr. Munk was elected Head of AMR in 1999. Mr. Munk founded his own company Lukia ApS in 2001 and procured the entire AMR area from Industrial Communication. Mr. Munk directed the company as CEO until GÖRLITZ took it over in 2007, and continues to act as CEO. In addition Mr. Munk sits as a juror for the Danish courts and held several positions of trust as a board member or chairman of broadband companies and similar organizations.

Dieter Novotny, Head of Product Management GÖRLITZ AG, after completing his studies in communication technology in Cologne, Mr. Novotny was engaged in the development of remote technology in SAE-Elektronik in Cologne. He joined GÖRLITZ AG in 1998 and was Project Leader in Development. He changed to Product Management in 2007 and appointed as head of the department in January 2010. Mr. Novotny represents GÖRLITZ AG in various national and international organisations and standardisation associations.

Andreas Pfüller,  Managing Director GÖRLITZ Deutschland GmbH, studied electrical and information technology at the Chemnitz University of Technology. He joined GÖRLITZ in 1999 and was responsible for Support and later, Development. Before his present position Mr. Pfüller headed Product and Project Management from 2006 to 2009.

Dipl.-Ing. Henry Rahn, Managing Director GÖRLITZ Deutschland GmbH, brings long-standing experience in project engineering and sales to his new role. He is particularly expert on products, systems and services for automation in the process industry, in the utility and IT environments. After completing his studies in mechanical engineering, Mr. Rahn was engaged in sales-oriented managerial positions in diverse internationally focused concerns. In July 2008 he was appointed head of the business area Sales in the IDS Group and in January 2012 transferred to GÖRLITZ to head the Internatinal Sales department.

Helmut Ratzenhofer, Managing Director GÖRLITZ Austria GmbH, upon completion of his studies at the Vienna University of Technology entered Schlumberger, the international manufacturers of metering and system technology, where he gained valuable experience in Development and International Marketing and Sales. He founded the Austrian branch of GÖRLITZ in 2001 and has directed it successfully since.   The main field of activity is export to the neighbouring countries in eastern Europe.

Giovanni Riboldi, Managing Director GÖRLITZ Italia Srl, received his doctorate in electrical engineering at the Milan Polytechnic with a specialisation in software engineering. He acquired experience as a software consultant and joined Schlumberger in 1990 where he remained until 1999. He covered several technical and marketing positions during this period. 
The new millennium brought new challenges, therefore at the beginning of 2000 Mr. Riboldi joined GÖRLITZ AG. He has been engaged as managing director for the past 10 years in the Italian subsidiary and also supports the GÖRLITZ executive board in international business development. 

Ingo Schmitt, Managing Director GÖRLITZ Schweiz AG, studied electrical engineering and joined GÖRLITZ in 1997. He has been involved with the expansion of the group over the past decade. He commenced in Project Management and was appointed Key Account Manager in the international division, and has also served on the board of our service company EuroDCS Energiedaten GmbH. Mr. Schmitt has been directing operations in our subsidiary in Switzerland since 2009.

Olaf Siegel, Managing Director EuroDCS Energiedaten AG, studied electro-technology at the Dresden University of Technology and on completion of his studies, was engaged as sales representative in several Berlin based companies. He moved to Koblenz in 1994 and joined GÖRLITZ where he was responsible for the back office and the field sales force. Between 2001 and 2005, Mr. Siegel served on the executive board of GÖRLITZ AG and supervised Sales and Project Integration. He was appointed as CEO of the service company EuroDCS Energiedaten AG in 2003.

Philippe Stas, Managing Director GÖRLITZ Benelux N.V./S.A., obtained a Master in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp in 1976. He holds over 30 years of business and sales experience working for ICT companies like Hewlett-Packard, Digital or Alcatel, where he held the position of sales director Benelux. He brings with him a profound experience on Smart Metering, especially in the Benelux area. Philippe and his wife have 3 children, he speaks several languages and likes to hike and bike.
